Spider Man Game became the topic of contention when Square E nix and PlayStation announce that they would only add to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 variety of Marvel’s Avengers, leaving PC & Xbox players without the popular Marvel hero.
At this time, the developers thought that Spider Man Game would be added to Marvel’s Avengers for free at some point in early 2021. That didn’t happen, of course, probably because Crystal Dynamics had bigger fish to fry as they hurried tried to add more content to the game following launch.
We did not really hear any further info about it. That change with a brief statement Senior Designer Scott Walters shares with Screen Rant.
We always plan and look to bring Spider-Man out in 2021 for PS owners. That is on track, so we have more announcements, this year.
This seems like Spider-Man is still on the table for 2021, then. Marvel’s Avengers fans suggest getting free War for Wakanda, due to launch on August 17th for all other platforms. This also introduces Black Panther, two new villains, a new environment to search, new enemies, Birnin Zana, new solo or multiplayer and warning Sector missions, and more.
